Three years ago this September our youngest, Nikolaus, packed up and moved to Chicago and three years ago this October, our oldest, Rebekah Jane moved back home.
Having flown the nest shortly after college, successfully lived on her own with various roommates and proven her skill as an editor for a local newspaper our girl was thriving in Nashville as her brother bravely moved his passion for food to cook in the Wind City of Chicago.
Not too long after our son moved to Chicago, our daughter moved back home, as she needed a soft landing and a reset of sorts since life had dealt her some unexpected blows. we let her know she could come home for a reset of sorts, allowing us to give her love dan support as she figured out next steps.
